Such a great burger spot! I might be bias since it’s in my neighborhood, but this is my go to when craving a burger with fries. The Swiss aioli is just fantastic and the burger is great. I always recommend this spot and take visitors there for a bite and drink. Just stop in, have a drink, or grab a meal you’ll be glad you did!

If you’re after a burger and a cocktail done right, Parlour delivers every time. Parlour keeps things simple, and that’s exactly what makes it great. Their smash burger is a masterclass in doing the basics right—perfectly seasoned beef, a beautifully seared crust, melty cheese, and a soft bun that holds it all together without getting in the way. No gimmicks, just a ridiculously good burger. The signature Old Fashioned is just as dialed in. Balanced, smooth, and exactly what you want in a classic cocktail—no shortcuts, no unnecessary twists, just a well-made drink. The atmosphere hits that ideal middle ground between intimate and casual. It feels like a place you could bring a date, meet up with friends, or just sink into a great meal solo at the bar. Service is sharp, and they know what they’re doing.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the whiskey list was incredible. This place has a speakeasy vibe, and a great bar staff. I’d definitely go back. It’s up there with Au Cheval or Gretel.

It’s a cozy, tucked-away bar with booth seating and a few tables—don’t miss it, it’s downstairs. The burger? Greasy, but delicious. Some reviews complained about salt and grease, but let’s be real—if a big, meat-heavy burger surprises you, I hope you never order a meat-lovers pizza. My only gripe: the fries are 8.50. The portion is huge—easily enough for three people—but that’s not great for solo diners. They should absolutely offer a half order option. Charging full price for a mountain of fries most people can’t finish isn’t good business. They’ve got a solid whiskey selection and well-made cocktails. A printed whiskey price list would be a smart addition, but overall the place is well set up. I was happy with it—and I’d definitely go back for that burger.

Every now and then you just need a good burger. Fries, and Old Fashioned. When you do, I recommend a trip down to the Parlour … enjoy!

I have heard of Parlour before in some magazines for top burger spots in the Twin Cities. It had your usual suspects like Red Cow or Blue Door and those are good burgers in their own right. I don't say it lightly that when I went to Parlour and got the burger it was a burger apart from the rest. It is a simple execution of smash burgers but something they do made it taste like something grand. In so much, I went back a week later to see if it was a fluke and I was equally happy with the experience. It will become my once a year burger for as long as I'm in the Twin Cities.

Great burger and fries in a nice cozy speakeasy type bar. Would highly recommend for a casual meal. The Swiss aoli was also delicious and recommended. The old fashioned was a bit stiff for my liking
